My family has proudly called Natick home for over 70 years. Growing up here, I deeply appreciated our town’s sense of community. I recently returned to my hometown after living in California for 39 years and recognized troubling trend with the decisions being made by the current Select Board. They are making major decisions without consideration of all residents of the town. Residents with differing views from the current Select Board’s prevailing ideology are being left in the dark and their opinions dismissed. These decisions have fiscal and quality of life in Natick implications for us all. I believe it’s crucial to ensure complete transparency from our governing body so that we come together to make common-sense decisions as a community to preserve what makes Natick special. This is what inspired me to run for the Select Board.
